- Pleated filter cartridges with superior filtration properties that clean more air / m² than most other filters.
- Equipped as standard with pressure-controlled cleaning, which means that the filter cartridges are never cleaned needlessly.
- Absolent's patent pending "down-flow technique" enables better cleaning of the filter medium, especially during continuous operation.
- A compact and well-built cabinet that optimally utilizes floor space and houses a small filter that generates a very low noise level.
- Washable filter cartridges.
- Easy-to-service.
Functional description
TSF-4F (Dust filter with integrated fan, image A)
The dust-laden air is sucked into the inlet (1) on
the side of the filter. When the air enters the
filter chamber, its velocity drops and the heaviest
dust particles fall into the dust container (10). The
air and lighter particles flow further through the
four filter cartridges (2) where the dust collects.
The clean air then flows to the integrated fan (4),
which discharges the air across a HEPA filter
(3) to outlet (5). At this point, the air is so clean
that it can be returned directly to the room. Whenever the pressure drop across the filter cartridges
(2) exceeds the preset limit value, the valves in the
pulse-cleaning air tank (7) are activated and discharge a pulse of compressed air from cleaning nozzles (8) (1 nozzle/filter cartridge). This reverses the air in the filter cartridges (2). The compressed-air pulse jars the dust collected on the surface of the filter medium causing it to fall down into the dust container (10).
TSF5 & TSF15
(Dust filter with external fan, image B
)
The dust-laden air is sucked into the inlet (1) on top of the filter facing down. When the air enters the filter chamber, its velocity drops and the heaviest particles in the dust fall into the dust container (8). The air and the lighter particles are sucked further to the filter cartridges (2) where the dust collects. The filtered air is then sucked out through the filter outlet (3) by the external fan. When the pressure drop across the filter cartridges (2) exceeds the preset limit value, the valves in the tank for cleaning air (5) open and pressurized air is discharged as pulses into the filter cartridges (2) via the cleaning nozzles (6) (1 nozzle/ row of filter cartridges). The compressed air pulse causes the dust collected in the filter surface to loosen and fall down into the dust container (8).
